Copper Union Mt. Washington (5700B Cottonworth Ave. Mt. Washington, MD 21209), a new social club dedicated to the fast-growing sport of pickleball celebrates its grand opening Oct. 4-5, from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. The club offers a welcoming environment for players of all skill levels, from beginners to seasoned competitors, and a community retreat with incredible food and beverages courtesy of Copper Café.

Washington, making it a perfect spot for families playing sports at that facility to visit for refreshments and neighbors looking for a bite. Guests can take game breaks in the Beer Garden or arrange for food and beverages to be delivered courtside.

Copper Union Mt. Washington’s Pickleball Courts are open Mon. through Thurs. from 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m., Fri. until 9:00 p.m., Sat. from 7:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m., and Sun. from 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. with Beer Garden hours from 5:00 to 9:00 p.m. Tues. through Fri., and 11 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Sat. with select events on Sundays. Members can reserve courts up to two weeks in advance, and Copper Union is open to non-members as well via the app or online at Copperunion.com.
